Since this morning our overall severe threat has declined but still all of East Texas is within a Slight Risk.

Our main threats would be damaging wind gusts and the possibility isolated tornadoes. Heavy rain will also be a concern as we get into Thursday.

Morning storms have zapped quite a bit of the energy in the atmospher but it’s still possible that later this afternoon and evening we could see severe weather.

FUTURECAST:

For now it looks like most the storms we’ll experience this morning will just bring heavy rain. Our main severe threat is later this afternoon and evening as the main line currently West of Dallas pushes in. Still some uncertainty on the timing but our futurecast generally shows the overall trend. More storms this evening can be expected.
