THIS AFTERNOON:  Mostly cloudy and humid with scattered light showers, however a few heavier thunderstorms can briefly affect parts of Deep East Texas. One or 2 storms in Sam Rayburn and Toledo Bend country could be strong to severe.   High temperatures near 75 North and Central (including Tyler and Longview), but  up to 79-84 in parts of Deep East Texas.  Winds SSW 10-20 mph.

TONIGHT:  Scattered showers ending during the evening, then partly cloudy with areas of patchy fog forming….Low temperature near 57….Winds light Westerly, becoming light NErly.

TUESDAY: ELECTION DAY:   Variable clouds and warm…Slight chance (20%) of a shower in Deep East Texas.  High temperatures: 76-82….Winds ESE 10 mph.

TUESDAY NIGHT:  Mostly cloudy and humid, a few scattered showers are possible (30%).  Low near 60.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy with a few scattered showers or thunderstorms possible (40%).  Temperatures:  Low 60,  High 65…Winds South, becoming NE 10 mph.

THURSDAY:   Cloudy and older with periods of rain (60%).   Low 50,  High 55…Winds NE 10-15 mph.

FRIDAY:  Rain ending in the morning (40%), clearing by afternoon…..Brisk and chilly….Low 45,  High 55….Winds N 15-20 mph.

SATURDAY:  Chance of early morning frost…..Lows: 32-39, then mostly sunny and a little milder by afternoon….High 59….Winds ENE 10 mph.

SUNDAY:  Partly sunny and cool….Low 40,  High 62…Winds SSE 10 mph.

MONDAY:  Mostly cloudy and continued seasonably cool…Low 45,  High 62….Winds NE 10 mph.
