Sports

Tatum, a hands down, East Texas high school football powerhouse had lost 11 games in a row dating back to November of 2014.  But that streak came to an end Friday when the Eagles knocked off rival Arp 24-14, a team many are expecting to make a deep playoff run.  It also gave new Tatum head coach Craig Barker a win in his debut.

Watch the video to see KETK’s Garrett Sanders’ story as Barker’s no excuses approach is already netting results.

The Eagles host a very good Henderson team Friday in our Dairy Queen Friday Football Fever Game of the Week.  Kickoff is 7:30pm in Tatum.
