The Brook Hill School has hired a new volleyball coach, and the search for a new program leader stayed local.

Sonorah Duty was introduced Monday night to Brook Hill players and fans as the new volleyball coach for the Lady Guard.

“Sonorah comes highly recommended as being a great teacher and having a strong love for the game,” said Athletic Director Wally Dawkins.

Duty is a former Robert E. Lee player and then signed to play at UT Tyler from 2011-2013.

She has been the director of the Metroplex’s prestigious Waterview Wolves Volleyball Club, one of the top club teams in the country.
