Babe’s Inside Slant: The Big Easy is never easy

Cowboy Chatter

The last time the Dallas Cowboys played in the Superdome, they didn’t have a very pleasant plane ride home as the Who-Dats hammered Dallas 49-17 in 2013.  In this week’s Babe’s Inside Slant, the Silver Star Nation’s Babe Laufenberg explains why a trip to the Big Easy for NFL teams is never easy.

The Cowboys found out the hard way two years ago when they traveled to New Orleans took on the Saints and watched them rack up a club record 625 yards of total offense and an NFL record 40 first downs.  Cowboys defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli remembers quite well.

On the flipside the Cowboys will go against their former defensive coordinator. Rob Ryan. Jason Witten said today, He likes to find out what you do well. Then take that away. What the Cowboys have done well to throw the ball to. Jason Witten. He’s tied for the team lead with twenty one receptions.  Now adding to the degree of difficulty it’s a seven thirty start on Sunday night in New Orleans meaning. Plenty of time for those same fans. To enjoy their favorite libations.
