Tyson recalls frozen chicken breast patties concerning “foreign contamination”

Tyson is recalling more than 39,000 pounds of Weaver brand frozen chicken patty products that may be contaminated with “extraneous materials.”

The frozen, fully cooked products were produced on January 31, 2019.

No injuries have been reported, but the recall was made after consumer complaints.

Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.
