According to the Texas Department of Transportation are closing State Highway 21 for some repairs and ongoing changes.
Officials are once again closing SH 21 from US 96 to SH 147 through downtown on Friday morning in order to set new power poles.
No length of time for this closure has been set.
Motorists are urged to choose alternate routes or detour to State Highway 147.
