Total Lunar Eclipse Tonight

This evening we are going to be treated to a supermoon total lunar eclipse. This moon is also known as the Wolf Moon and Blood Moon. The moon will be in Earth’s shadow and at the same time the moon will be closer to Earth making it look slightly bigger. 

Tonight into early Monday Morning (all times Central):
9:34 PM Partial Eclipse Begins
10:41 PM Total Eclipse Begins
11:12 PM Middle of Totality
11:44 PM Total Eclipse Ends
12:51AM Partial Eclipse Ends

Mostly clear with high clouds passing by. They should not block the entire viewing but it will be cold. Temperatures expected to be in the upper 30s with wind chills in the 20s. 

May 16, 2022. Before then there will be a partial lunar eclipse on November 19, 2021.
