Louisiana postpones primary elections due to coronavirus concerns

BATON ROUGE, Louisiana (KETK) – Louisiana has become the first state to postpone its primary elections due to concerns about the coronavirus.

The Louisiana Secretary of State announced Friday that his state will postpone its primary elections, originally scheduled for April 4, to June 20. The state also has delayed its municipal elections until July 25.
