Gulf Shores City Council approves alcohol ban ahead of 2020 spring break

GULF SHORES, Alabama (WKRG) — It might be a little less party if you plan to travel this next spring break.

The Gulf Shores City Council unanimously voted to approve the 2020 alcohol ban on the public beach in Gulf Shores.

The ban will run from March 2 to April 17, 2020.

The city has enforced the alcohol ban during the weeks of spring break since 2017.
