It appears former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz could be dipping his toes at a possible third-party run for president in 2020.

According to The Atlantic, Schultz will announce Sunday that he is seriously considering a presidential run as an independent.

However, he is not expected to make an official announcement.

Schultz accused both major political parties of not doing what’s necessary to help the American people and lashed out at Republicans and Democrats alike for engaging in “revenge politics”.

Schultz is currently Chairman Emeritus at Starbucks, but he stepped down as the company’s executive chairman last June.

The billionaire businessman has reportedly been contemplating a third-party presidential run for some time.

Some suggest a Schultz third-party run could possibly hurt Democrats and help President Trump in 2020.
