Fit4Mom workout program offers fitness classes to East Texas mothers

The first full week of classes begin today at Dayspring UMC and Faulkner Park

Tyler, TX - A new fitness class called Fit4Mom kicks off its first full week of classes in Tyler today.

The classes are part of a national program, but this is the first time it’s been brought to Smith County.

Bailey Tuley, a mother of two who lives in Tyler, is the coordinator of the East Texas branch.

She says the group takes part in stroller walks, band exercises and barre classes.

Tuley also said it’s a great opportunity for moms who want to workout but feel guilty leaving their kids home.

Plus, the workouts are for moms of all experience levels.

Aside from the health and exercise benefits, Tuley said another advantage is the community that forms.

Every week, the group takes part in a craft night, and then there is a mom’s night out every month.

Tuley said, in the past, she has used the classes to get in the best shape of her life and make her closest friends.
