Perdue is recalling nearly 70,000 pounds of chicken nuggets after multiple reports revealed that they could be contaminated with wood.

The product reported was manufactured on Oct. 25 and distributed nationwide. They have a UPC bar code of 72745-80656 and the establishment number of P-33944 in the US Agriculture Department inspection mark.

The USDA has no confirmed reports of bad reactions to the gluten-free chicken, but have recieved complaints from three different sources that wood was found in their nuggets.

If you are in possession of the nuggets, they should be thrown away immediatley or returned to the seller.

Perdue says the recall is being done out of caution.
