On Newsfeed Now for May 2 we began with a heartbreaking story in Florida where a man is accused of abusing a two-year-old girl. Police say the man wore a werewolf mask when abusing the child and would put a shock collar on her. ER doctors found burns all over her body. WKRG’s Cody Long gave us the latest on the investigation.

XXX – In Kansas, a stranger decided to donate one of her kidneys. Her kidney matched with a woman a few hours down the road who was living with a genetic kidney disease. Through the transplant, the two have become best friends. KSNW’s Michelle Ross shared their story. 

XXX – This week severe weather has hammered down across the south. In southwest Missouri, families are still recovering from several tornados that touched down. The National Weather Service confirmed 9 twisters hit the area. KOLR’s Nyzah McDonald shared how the community is coming together after the damaging storms. 

XXX – We wrapped up the show with a TV game show contestant who is making headlines. On Jeopardy, James Holzhauer has won 20 times in a row and is making money faster than any champion ever. So far he’s earned more than a million dollars.
