Xanax and PCP found in 20 month old baby’s system

A teen brother called 911 saying that his 20 month old sister was unresponsive WJLA reports. The mother rushed home where the neighbor who was a doctor was performing CPR on the child until the paramedics arrived.

The little girl was taken to the hospital where tests showed PCP and Xanax in her system. There is no word on when she will be released. 

The girls mother said she saw the bottle of Xanax on the bedside table before she left for work. The girl’s father, Jason Hall said he is prescribed Xanax and may have fallen asleep.

The father told WJLA he didn’t put the top all the way on the bottle so she thought it was candy.

He also claimed that his cousin must have brought the PCP into the house.

Hall was charged with child neglect and reckless endangerment. There is no word on when the little girl will be released.
