Victim identified in Bullard murder, 2 arrested

BULLARD, Texas (KETK) - Bullard police have arrested two men for capital murder after the body of a female was found on Thursday afternoon.

According to Smith County judicial records, on Thursday, police arrested Charles Edward Lennon III, 29, of Bullard, and Charles Edward Lennon, Jr., 56, of Tyler.

A justice of the peace inquest shows the victim to be Rachel Lynn Jackson, 31, of Tyler. The document also states Jackson's body was found in a trash bin. Her body has been taken to a forensics lab in Tyler.

The elder Lennon was booked on the following charges:

Capital murder by terroristic threat

Tamper/fabricate physical evidence with the intent to impair

His bond was set at $2,000,000.

Lennon III was charged with the following:

Possession of a controlled substance

Capital murder by terroristic threat

Burglary of a habitation

His bond was set at $2,250,000.

Police say two men and one other woman were taken to the Smith County Sheriff's Office for questioning by the BPD.
