Coyote Sam’s Bar & Grille was selected for Texas Monthly’s August 2016 issue featuring the fifty best hamburgers in Texas, for their kobe beef burger.
“I’m honored that they chose me, we decided to go with kobe beef because it’s so delicious,” Owner Sam Wells, said.
The article highlights the burger being cooked on a cast iron over open flames and being topped with local Jacksonville tomatoes.
Kobe beef stems from wagyu cattle which naturally contains more omega 3 and 6 fatty acids. According to Wells the beef is a healthier option due to the monounsaturated fats.
Coyote Sam’s Bar & Grille opened nine years ago on Old Jacksonville Highway, but Wells has more than 30 years of experience in the food service industry. He contributes the restaurants success to hard work and dedication to providing excellent customer service.
“I’m glad they did recognize me, I’m proud of that still in a little bit of shock over it,” Wells, said. “We try every way in the world to produce the best food we can produce here.”
The bar & grille’s Facebook page has more than 2,000 likes and the customer base continues to grow through word of mouth.
