Tyler police investigating robbery of gas station

The Tyler Police Department is investigating a Thursday morning robbery.

Around 8:50 a.m., police responded to a robbery at the Racetrack convenience store, located at 1736 East Gentry Parkway.
 
Police say the robber entered the store and demanded money from a clerk, but did not pull a weapon. The robber is described as a Hispanic male, standing 5’5” to 5’7″ weighing 200-235 pounds. He was wearing blue pants, a camouflage hoodie and glasses.
 
The man was seen leaving the scene in a white, four-door car. 
 
Anyone with information about this crime is urged to contact the Tyler Police Department, at 903-531-1000, or Crimestoppers at 903-597-CUFF (903-597-2833). Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed against the suspects in this case or any felony case.
