Tyler police investigating attempted robbery

TYLER, Texas (KETK) - Tyler police are investigating an attempted robbery at a gas station in South Tyler.

On Friday evening at about 5:15 p.m., police responded to a report of a robbery at City Fuel in the 7000 block of South Broadway.

When officers arrived, they learned that a white or Hispanic male, 5’8” with a thin build, wearing white pants, gloves and a long sleeve black shirt, entered the store with a knife. The suspect demanded money from the clerk but was not able to get any. He fled the scene on foot.

Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed against the suspects in this case or any felony case.
