The Tyler Police Department are investigating an overnight robbery of Lavanderia Express on Vine Street.

According to police, shortly after 3 a.m., officers responded to 1203 S. Vine and spoke to the cashier who said two armed black men walked in and demanded money. The clerk said the men ordered him to hand over money in the cash register, all while threatening him with a weapon.

After the man complied, the robbers left the Lavanderia and headed west.

The two are desribed as black men, thin build, wearing all black clothing and face masks. Both men were also armed.

Officers did search the area, but were unable to locate the men responsible.

No one was injured in the process, but the case is still under investigation.

The same Lavanderia has been robbed multiple times. Back in November, two men were arrested on drug charges suspected of robbing the business.
