Who loves crawfish? This messy & spicy yet good food is the favorite year-around food that many East Texans enjoy!

On Thursday, Chief Meteorologist Marcus Bagwell visited the Troup Rotary Club’s 6th annual crawfish boil. This event raises scholarship money for the Troup High School seniors.

Stuart Bird, president elect for the rotary club, says they have raised over $70,000 in scholarship money.

On Thursday, nearly 1,000 pounds of crawfish was boiled, along with the “fixins” (corn & potatoes).
