Trial date set for Tyler nurse accused of murder, injury to patients

TYLER, Texas (KETK) - The trail date has been set for William George Davis, the nurse accused of killing one patient and injuring six others.

According to Smith County judicial records, Davis' trial is slated to begin on December 3, 2018 in the 114th District Court. Judge Christi Kennedy will preside over the hearings.

Davis, 34, of Hallsville, was indicted last week on one count of murder and two counts of aggravated assault.

Davis, a nurse at CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Louis and Peaches Owen Heart Hospital, allegedly killed 47-year-old Christopher Greenway. 

Tyler Police arrested Davis on April 10, 2018.

Davis remains in the Smith County Jail on $2,000,000 bond.
