Salvation Army in Tyler holding blanket drive

The Salvation Army in Tyler is asking for blanket donations. They are partnering with East Texas Refrigeration for their annual Gift of Warmth project.
 
The Salvation Army hopes to collect 500 new blankets by January 27th.
 
“Truth be told people need blankets year round, I sleep under a blanket every single day, this is something we’ll be able to use year-round,” Community Coordinator Lindsey Galabeas said.  
 
You can drop off donations at the Salvation Army in Tyler on North Broadway or East Texas Refrigeration on Old Troup Highway.
