Prosecutors in Maryland have dropped all remaining charges against Baltimore police officers in connection with the April 2015 death of Freddie Gray.
This means all of the cases pushed by the prosecution will end without any convictions.
Three of the six officers have already been acquitted. In the case of a fourth officer, the judge declared a mistrial.
A month after Gray’s death, Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby announced the charges against the officers.
Many legal experts believe this case could have a significant negative impact on Mosby’s career, as several challengers are set to face off against her when she’s up for re-election.
