Police seek ID of Woodcreek Athletic Club burglar

The Tyler Police Department is seeking information on a thief who stole from a vehicle at the Woodcreek Athletic Club earlier this week.

Police said a victim reported keys were taken from his locker at the club on South Broadway and his truck was unlocked. The burglar then stole his wallet from inside the vehicle. 

The suspect was caught on camera and is described as a black male in his late 40s to early 50s, who weighs about 300 pounds and has a beard. 

The victim had several credit cards stolen which used at several different businesses in Tyler.

A picture of the burglar at Woodcreek and Walgreen’s at 5415 S. Broadway in Tyler were released. Police said he used one of the stolen cards at the Walgreen’s.

Anyone with information about the suspect involved in this crime is urged to contact the Tyler Police Department, at 903-531-1000, or Crimestoppers at 903-597-CUFF (903-597-2833).  Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed against the suspects in this case or any felony case.
