Police identify victim, suspect in North Tyler shooting; suspect still at large

The victim from Tuesday morning’s shooting in North Tyler has been identified as 36-year-old Jacklyn Radway. She was found with one gunshot wound to the chest.

She is in critical condition. 

The suspect has been identified as Patrick Deon Daniels. His home has been located at 11300 block of Grubbs Street in Smith County east of Tyler Pipe.

He is still at large. 

An arrest warrant has been issued for Daniels with charges of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

Tyler police have identified the suspect in Tuesday morning’s apartment shooting as Patrick Deon Daniels, 33, of Tyler. 

According to police, officers are still searching for Daniels. 

On Tuesday morning, officers were called to the 2600 block of North Broadway Avenue around 7:30 a.m.

When officers arrived, they found one woman suffering from a gunshot wound.

She was taken to the hospital, but her condition is unknown at this time.

Police have identified a suspect, but are not releasing his name at this time.

Officials don’t believe this incident was drug related, rather a domestic disturbance turned violent. Tyler PD did confirm if Daniels and the victim know each other.

According to online records, Daniels has three assault charges, two DWI’s and two Criminal trespassing charges.
