National Weather Service confirms straight line wind damage in Marshall

The National Weather Service has confirmed after a survey that straight line wind damage occurred in Marshall from storms that hit Saturday afternoon.

Winds reached up to 70 miles per hour.

The team is now headed to Chapel Hill to survey additional damage.
