Kilgore man arrested for dealing meth

According to the Kilgore police department, a man who was “dealing poison” in the Kilgore community was put out of business today.

Around noon on Wednesday, the Rusk County SWAT Team crashed through the door of a house on FM 2276 and arrested Brian Stansbury. 

According to the Kilgore PD Facebook page, Stansbury is a felon on probation and cannot possess firearms, but his house was full of them. He also had two police tactical vests and a badge.

During their search, officers found multiple rifle suppressors in the house. Detectives also recovered numerous stolen items including a motorcycle and zero turn riding mower. 

The approximate weight of the dope is .25 lbs.

Stansbury will be charged with distribution of Methamphetamine. Other charges are likely to be filed.
