Local News

Jacquelynne Olmedo, the mother of Little Michael Aydan has been through her share including four open heart surgeries for her small child.

Last week on their way to Texas Children’s Hospital Olmedo noticed Aydan turning purple.

Luckily Harris County Precinct 5 Deputy Manuel Edwards was working traffic control on the same route.

In a desperate panic Olmeda pulled up behind him and told Edwards the situation. Edwards immediately reacted and called for help.

Edwards didn’t stop their, according to Olmedo the deputy grabbed her hands and said that God was with them and this is going to pass.

Right afterwards the baby started moving around like nothing happened the Aydan’s mother said.

According to KTRK Olmeda thought she would never see the deputy again, but hours later Deputy Edwards and Sgt. Gonzalez arrived with toys and balloons.
