As the Kilgore Police Department continues seeking information regarding the whereabouts of Sheryia Grant of Kilgore, her family has put up a $5,000 reward for information leading to her being found.

Grant is eight months pregnant and was last seen about midnight Aug. 20 in Kilgore. She was wearing a black T-shirt, pink undershirt and grey yoga-type pants with her hair in a ponytail.

Grant’s sister, Sheaira Grant, expressed hopes the reward would draw useful information.

“When I get her home, that’s when I’ll be at peace,” she said.

Assistant Kilgore Police Chief Roman Roberson said Monday the department was receiving tips, and wants more. He said foul play might be an element in Grant’s disappearance.

“That’s a possibility. We are kind of concerned,” Roberson said.

He asked anyone with tips call (903) 983-1559. They also can provide anonymous information by calling Gregg County Crime Stoppers at (903) 236-STOP or by texting an anonymous tip to 847411 (KILGORE). Refer to incident number 1608-1682.
