DPS identifies man killed in Anderson County accident

The Texas Department of Public safety has identified an East Texas man who was killed in an Anderson County accident.
 
On Tuesday, around 5:00 p.m., troopers responded to a one-vehicle fatal crash on Farm-to-Market 321 in Anderson County, near Montalba. 
 
The preliminary crash investigation revealed that a vehicle was traveling west on FM 321, approaching a curve in the roadway.  
 
The driver, identified as Connor Patrick Walsh, 18, of Tennessee Colony, of was unable to negotiate the curve and traveled off the roadway to the north side of FM 321, before veering back across both lanes into the south ditch. The vehicle then rolled over and struck a tree. 
 
Walsh was pronounced dead by James Sharp, his body taken to Bailey & Foster funeral home in Palestine.
