Local News
Cheers erupted on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange on Wednesday morning.
For the first time in its 120-year history, the Dow Jones industrial average eclipsed the 20,000 mark after a series of executive orders signed by President Donald Trump.
The Dow is up 1,667 points since Mr. Trump was elected President in November, according to CNNMoney.
The Wall Street Journal reports the stock boosts are mostly attributed to enthusiasm for President Trump’s plans to boost infrastructure.
