BREAKING NEWS: Manhunt for men who committed robbery in Tyler

On Saturday, September 18 around 4:50 p.m., Tyler police responded to the Exxon gas station located at 1811 South Broadway in reference to a robbery.

When officers arrived on scene an employee of the store reported that a heavy set Hispanic male had come into the store asking about restroom.

A few minutes later the suspect exited the restroom, approached the clerk, and displayed a knife demanding the money from the register.

When the victim opened the register the suspect removed the cash then exited the store and left the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

The victim stated the suspect left the scene driving south on Broadway in a white GMC Acadia with no license plates on the vehicle.

The suspect from the video is a heavy set Hispanic male wearing glasses. The suspect in the video appears bald and is wearing a blue shirt with white or khaki shorts.

Officers processed the scene and collected video of the incident.

The case remains under investigation. Attached photos of the suspect and the suspect vehicle.

Anyone with information about the suspects involved in this crime are urged to contact the Tyler Police Department at 903-531-1000, or Crimestoppers at 903-597-CUFF. Crimestoppers will pay up to $100 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed against the suspects in this case or any felony case.
