Two American brothers have been arrested in connection to terrorist activity overseas.
The two men were arrested in the country of Tunisia in Northern Africa. The brothers are originally from Michigan.
Police say Patrick Lawwill and his brother whose name has not been released, recently converted from Christianity to Islam and were attending a University there.
Officials who raided the encampment in Tunisia where the brothers were staying found material relating to hardline Islamic Law and Jihad.
They did not find plans to make explosives.
Michigan residents who lived near the brothers say they were quiet and mostly kept to themselves.
A former neighbor said it is kind of hard to believe because she would not of expected it from them. They seemed very quiet and to themselves type of people, but they would still socialize.
