10,000 Firefighters From Coast To Coast Gather: Saying goodbye to FDNY Chief

Local News

10,000 firefighters from coast to coast lined the streets in New York to honor FDNY Chief, Michael Fahy killed in Bronx explosion during an evacuation of a suspected marijuana lab inside a Bronx home.

Fahy was posthumously promoted to the rank of Deputy Chief.

The fire department says he was on the list for that promotion before his death.

Fahy was a devoted husband, a loving father, a humble man born to lead.

Others said Fahy spent a better part of his serving, saving and protecting others as a proud member of FDNY.
