Democratic Party postpones national convention until August over COVID-19 concerns


MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin (KETK) – The Democratic National Committee is postponing its summer convention in Milwaukee until August due to concerns over the spread of COVID-19.

The four-day convention, originally scheduled to begin July 13, will be held the week of August 17.

It is unclear as yet how many days the rescheduled convention will last.

The committee announced the decision Thursday.
