Alzheimer’s Alliance offering first Teepa Snow PAC workshop “Normal vs. Not Normal Aging: Understanding the Difference”
The workshop will help those in attendance understand and recognize the difference between “normal” signs of aging vs. “not normal” aging related to various cognitive functions. Participants will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the workshop.
The Alzheimer’s Alliance of Smith County will be offering their first Teepa Snow PAC Approved Workshop “Normal vs. Not Normal Aging: Understanding the Difference” on Friday, March 29th from 11:30am to 1:00pm at the Alzheimer’s Alliance Annex building located at 201 Winchester Drive.
This is a free workshop facilitated by Ms. Harms. Recognize the difference between “normal” signs of aging vs. “not normal” aging related to various cognitive functions. Registration is required. To register contact the Alzheimer’s Alliance office at 903-509-8323.
Luanne Harms, Alzheimer’s Alliance of Smith County’s Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), recently earned her Teepa Snow Positive Approach to Care (PAC) Trainer Certification. This certification allows her the ability to train others in Teepa Snow’s Approach to Care philosophy teaching awareness, knowledge, and skill development in a classroom, community, or support group setting.
