Two Titus County residents will be spending some serious times behind bars after pleading guilty to several child sex crimes.

On April 7, 2015, Mt. Pleasant officers arrested Timothy Paul Rovell, 41, of Titus County, and charged him with possession of child pornography, indecency with a child and tampering with physical evidence.

Several weeks later, Megan Williams, 26, of Mt. Pleasant, was taken into custody on April 24 and charged with two counts of possession of child pornography, sexual assault of a child and tampering with physical evidence.

Both suspect pleaded guilty and received 10 years in prison for each charge. The terms will be served consecutively.

Due to the age of one of the children, Williams must serve at least half of her sentence, 20 years, before being considered for parole. Upon release, both will be required to register as sex offenders for life.
