Just want to help

Neal Barton's Point of View

“We are here from the federal government and we just want to help you.”

Those are the most dangerous words in the world.

If you see something, say something. We have even heard that expression here in Texas. In New York, home of 9/11, that is a credo.

According to the New York Times Tuesday, the alleged NYC and New Jersey bomber’s father turned his son in to the feds two years ago.

Turned him in the the feds…then guess what happened? Nothing.

To quote the Times, his father this week said : “Two years ago, I go to the FBI. because my son was doing really bad, okay.?” he said. “But they check almost two months, they say, ‘He’s okay., he’s clean, he’s not a terrorist.’ I say okay.”

He added: “Now they say he is a terrorist. I say okay.”

KETK reported this Monday, but now there is more. The Daily Caller reports almost 900 illegal aliens were accidentally awarded U.S.  citizenship– all compliments of the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. government.

The people had been previously deported and had again entered the U.S. illegally, giving authorities a different name when they were obtained.  See you can tell they meant no harm, they just lied and were deceptive.

According to the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Inspector General, these individuals were not flagged by the digital fingerprint repositories at DHS and the Federal Bureau of Investigation because paper-based fingerprint cards used before 2008 were not reliably digitized and uploaded into the repository.
Is this a government operation or what?

Today, the Department of Homeland Security is trying to put lipstick on this, but they totally screwed up. The DHS needs to be done away with.

That’s my point of view, what’s yours?
