Woman pleads guilty to kidnapping Kilgore Rangerette in 2016

The woman accused of kidnapping a Kilgore Rangerette back in 2016 pleaded guilty in a Gregg County courtroom on Monday.

Nancy Motes plead guilty to two counts of aggravated kidnapping.

This comes after her trial date had been pushed back several times.

In December 2016, police were called to a robbery in progress and learned that Motes had taken Alexa Blair at gunpoint.

Blair is the daughter of Rangerette Director Dana Blair. She escaped shortly after and called police.

Motes was arrested but posted a $500,000 bond.
