1 arrested, 2 on loose after Lufkin robbery

The Lufkin Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating two Lufkin men wanted in connection to a Wednesday evening armed robbery at a local apartment complex.

Warrants have been issued for Atiba Nicholson, 19, and Milan “Milo” White, 20, for an incident at a Greenbriar Apartment in which a man was pistol-whipped and robbed of cash. The victim identified Nicholson and White, along with a third suspect, Kendall Bryant, 19, of Lufkin.

The victim said the men forced their way inside his friend’s apartment when he opened the door. Bryant and Nicholson were said to be armed with pistols. The victim reported the gunmen demanded money and when he refused, they knocked him to the ground and punched him. At this time, one of them hit him with their gun and took his wallet out of his back pocket. They suspects then left the area in a light blue Jaguar.

Bryant was arrested early Friday morning on a charge of aggravated robbery. The two other men remain on the loose.

White is described as 5’11, 165 pounds, while Nicholson is 5’5, 115 pounds. Anyone with information on their whereabouts can call our non-emergency number at 936-633-0356 or if they wish to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers at 936-639-TIPS.

Police said they are not sure if this is related another incident where a man was shot during a robbery on Thursday night.
