TYLER, Texas (KETK) - One more line of storms through the overnight hours for East Texas.
A Tornado Watch in effect until 11PM for our central and northern counties.
A new Tornado Watch for our eastern and southeastern counties in East Texas until 4AM Monday morning.
The next batch of rain is developing along a line from Sulphur Springs to east of Waco. This is the line that's moving in. Hopefully this will stay calm, but a few strong storms are still possible.
Forecast models are not detecting this final line of storms. However, the weather environment remains quite unstable as we have not seen any drop in our temperatures, dew points, our south winds. Actually, our south winds have ramped up tremendously tonight, keeping our isolated tornado threat possible.
Here is an updated threat graphic..gusty winds the primary concern, but there can be a tornado or two still in East Texas overnight.
We will have constant updates through the night on KETK & FOX51.
