What Mike Likes: Historic Rose City girls soccer team wins state tournament

TYLER, Texas (KETK) - The Double Trouble U19 girls soccer team capped off a remarkable 12-year run last weekend.

The team comprised of young ladies from five different area schools, and part of the Tyler Soccer Association, won the prestigious tournament of champions invitational in the Metroplex for the second time in the last four years.

Double Trouble came from behind to Sulphur Springs 3-1 in the title game.

The players who are currently junior and seniors at Tyler Lee, John Tyler, Whitehouse, Chapel Hill, and Brownsboro, have been playing together on this same squad since they were about five years old.

Under the direction of Greg Morris, they've compiled an astonishing record of 394 wins, 18 losses, and nine ties.
