REMEMBERING HEATH: Funeral services held for lost boy scout

LONGVIEW, Texas (KETK) - Heath Faucheux was a devoted member of the congregation at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Longview.

"Heath was one of our lectors here at St. Mary's," Reverend Dower said. "In fact, he was supposed to be my lector this weekend."

But through the doors Saturday a community mourning the loss of their loved one.

"I myself have a great deal of difficulty in times like this. It's hard for us too. It's very hard for us too."

A funeral service was held in honor of Heath.

"And he will raise you up."

"We ache with you we cry for you," Reverend Dower said to Heath's parents. "But always know we are here with you and for you."

Family, friends, classmates, fellow boyscouts, and others in the community touched by the life of Heath filled the sanctuary.

"Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?"

"One of the problems in dealing with tragedies like these, is we choose to think like humans, not as god thinks."

A place where loved ones had a chance to say goodbye and to honor his eternal resting place.

"All glory and honor is yours. Forever and ever."

Funeral services for Thomas Larry, last boy scout in electrocution tragedy, will be tomorrow at 3 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Longview.
