Tyler Rose races canceled, company goes under

TYLER, Texas (KETK) - The Tyler Rose Run has been canceled just days before the event, and the organization behind the event is now defunct.

The half-marathon and 5-mile race was slated for Sunday morning. The city was informed the event had been canceled Wednesday, due to lack of participation and signup.

Mellew productions, the company putting on the race, stated in an email to customers that refunds would not be issued, instead T-shirts and medals would still be given out.

KETK reached out to the vendor and was sent to a voicemail. The message stated the company has ceased operations.
