Palestine police seeking information in shooting that injured 1

PALESTINE, Texas (KETK) - Palestine police are seeking information in a Monday night shooting that left 1 man injured.

Just before 9PM Monday night, officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of West Regan and South Jackson Street.

Shortly after, police were notified that a subject had been brought into a Palestine hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim, identified as Carlos Scott, 34, of Palestine, was flown by helicopter to a Tyler hospital for further treatment.

Officers determined that the shooting occurred outside a residence in the 900 block of San Jacinto Street.

The shooting investigation is ongoing.
