Gregg County Sheriff's Office seeking public's help in identifying armed robbery suspects

KILGORE, Texas (KETK) - The Gregg County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects in an early Friday morning convenience store robbery.

The GCSO responded a little after 1AM Friday to a report of an armed robbery at Zippy J's convenience store at 6242 Old Hwy 135 in Kilgore.

Two suspects reportedly entered the store, presented a weapon and demanded money from the clerk. After getting an undisclosed amount of money, the suspects fled the store.

They left in an unknown direction, possibly driving a late-model, light-colored Dodge Charger R/T.

The suspects are described as two thin white or Hispanic males, both wearing dark clothes. Both had their faces concealed.

One suspect is described as being approximately 6' tall, and the other is described as being approximately 5'5" tall.
