Former Gilmer, NFL QB to team up with high school coach at SMU

Dallas, Texas (KETK) - From player to coach...that's where G.J. Kinne is headed.

On Thursday, Kinne announced he would team up with his former Gilmer High School football coach Jeff Traylor, and become an offensive graduate assistant at SMU.

Kinne retired from his professional career in May 2017, having most recently played for the CFL's Saskatchewan Roughriders

Prior to playing for the Roughriders, Kinne saw stints with the:

Calgary Stampeders (2016)

New York Giants (2015)

Philadelphia Eagles (2013-2015)

San Antonio Talons (2013)

Omaha Nighthawks (2012)

New York Jets  (2012)
